Once you have checked that you have all of the necessary drawings, plans and permits, according to the New Housing Permit Application Guide, it’s time to submit your application for review!
Try our new Self-Serve option to submit your application online. Or you can head to the Edmonton Service Centre (Edmonton Tower, 2nd Floor, 10111 104 Avenue, Edmonton AB T5J 0J4; 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday) to submit your application in person.
A Planning Technician will review your application and inform you of anything you’ve missed, or still need to do. While you are awaiting a decision on your Development Permit, you should apply for your On-Street Construction & Maintenance (OSCAM) Permit here. This is what you will need to be allowed to cross any City-owned land like boulevards and trees to access your site.
Take a Picture!
It's recommended that landowners submit pictures of their property and adjacent boulevards with their submission package to provide our transportation department with evidence of the state of the boulevard before the project begins.
